I have very affordable fishing rates, while you spend the day in my new 16-foot AlumaCraft boat that carries two guests. I usually take out father-son teams, relatives and couples. Price is $250 total for the day, whether I take one or two anglers out. I fish fairly shallow water from four to 10 feet, mostly for seatrout, though we catch a variety of fish. And I don't mind staying out almost all day. We just had a great Spring fishing season. I can launch out of Horseshoe Beach, which is very quiet and only a few motel rooms, or Steinhatchee, which has good restaurants and many places to stay. Scallop season begins here June 16 through mid-September, we have great fun snorkeling and Steinhatchee probably lands more scallops than anywhere in Florida. I've been guiding here since 1997.
